of a thousand miles begins with a single step


I am a professionally-qualified hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and counsellor offering private therapy from my office in Basildon. I see both male and female clients, couples and children. As well as seeing clients face-to-face I offer Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime and telephone therapy sessions.

I have worked in the field of mental health for over 12 years including in the NHS and the MIND organisation.

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and National Hypnotherapy Society and am governed by their professional codes of practice and ethical frameworks.


I know from my own experience that the world can be a pretty stressful place and that our daily lives can sap us emotionally and physically as we attempt to juggle our work and personal lives.  It is this personal experience, combined with my specialist training, that makes me the therapist that I am: empathic, understanding, down-to-earth and solution-focused.

I am passionate about working with my clients to improve their lives and provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental therapeutic space where we work through the problems they face.

I offer bespoke therapy using approaches and techniques best-suited to each of my clients. I will focus on what I believe to be therapeutically best for you in terms of treatment length, frequency of therapy sessions and approach used. This will be a collaborative process in which I will help you to make positive changes in your life.

By applying complementary therapy approaches and evidence-based techniques I can identify and change unhelpful patterns of negative thinking that may be holding you back from experiencing a happier and more meaningful life.
